EnergyAgency.FUKUSHIMA signed the first Cooperation Agreement with EnergyAgency.NRW in 2014 to allow for joint collaboration in the fields of biomass, wind, solar energy and hydrogen exploration.

Due to the continuing problems from the global COVID19 pandemic, the agreement was renewed and signed via an online meeting on the 30^th of March, in the 3^rd year of the rule of Emperor Reiwa. (2021)

At the ceremony, after first looking back over the results of past activities, Dr. Baumann, the representative from EnergyAgency.NRW, gave a speech on the results that had been accomplished in both organizations’ shared collaboration through domestic and overseas exhibitions, business matching and personnel exchanges. In response, Mr. Hattori, thanked EnergyAgency.NRW for all the support that it has given to EnergyAgency.FUKUSHIMA since EAF’s inception.

Last year, due to the COVID19 global pandemic, it was not possible for either partner to visit the others home countries and it appears that these restrictions will extend into this year as well. Despite this, both organizations will strive to do their utmost in expanded their shared cooperation between each other and Fukushima and NRW.
