MoU between EnergyAgency.NRW and EnergyAgency.FUKUSHIMA renewed!

EnergyAgency.FUKUSHIMA signed an MoU with EnergyAgency.NRW in 2014. Since then, both sides have strengthened cooperation in bioenergy, wind energy, geothermal energy, photovoltaic, fuel cells and hydrogen technologies, etc. in the field of renewable energy.

For the renewal of the MoU, a signing ceremony took place on the 30th of March, 2021. The signing ceremony was conducted online. In the beginning, a slide show was presented with lots of memorable scenes. Each picture delivered how deep our relationship with EA.NRW was in the business exchange. EA.NRW was the role model for EAF as a cluster agency.

Next, Managing Director of EA.NRW Dr. Baumann gave a speech. He talked about fruitful activities, such as REIF, E-world, B2B business matching, networking, and personnel exchanges. Managing Director Hattori also gave a message, stressing how encouraging Dr. Baumann’s advice was for EAF in the early stage of promoting renewable energy in Fukushima prefecture.

For the signing procedure, we arranged the screen as if both representatives were
side by side, and prepared a commemorative photo beforehand.

Last year, no partners were able to visit partner countries due to Covid-19 pandemic, but
we will do our best to carry out annual projects as scheduled and make this year very fruitful.
