Our company is located in the Aizu region, which experiences heavy snowfalls. Therefore we are working on constructing solar power stations that can be used in heavy snow and can reliably generate power, by verifying tall frames and solar panel angles through demonstration tests. We will install a large number of small-scale solar power stations that would supply local areas with power in case of a power outage during a disaster.

We have also started our program hands-on learning for renewable energy at the Oguni Solar Power Station, which allows us to promote renewable energy to the public.

■We have produced and operated 70 solar power stations, with a total of 5.2 MW in the Aizu and Nakadori region. (5 high voltage and 65 low voltage stations)
■We have educated 1,300 visitors at our hands-on learning facilities at the Oguni solar power station
