Introduction
As a hard float top maker, we have continued to offer proposals and supplies to specific fields inside and outside of Japan, related to the aquaculture industry, marine construction, marine surveying, dams, etc. We use our know-how that we have gained as an enterprise involved with the ocean (water) to make progress in the design and development of reliable floats in the field of renewable energy, such as those used for off shore wind power generation, and have been higly rated for our high-level technological power.
Activities
Through design and development of riser cable floats for offshore wind power generation stations for Fukushima, our floats were adopted as the first domestically produced floats.
■Utilized existing floats for 2MW installations in 2013
■Utilized floats developed specifically for 7MW installations in 2015 through a proposal that included a mounting method of which a patent was filed and accepted
■Utilized the same type of floats with further improvements for a 5MW installation in 2016
Proposal
■We work towards comprehensive proposals for our floats and rollers, and we have customized designs and mounting methods for out-of-the-ordinary uses.
