Exhibition Report from “E-world Energy & Water 2024” in Germany

Fukushima Prefecture / Energy Agency Fukushima (EAF) supported the expansion of overseas sales channels for excellent technologies and products developed by local companies in the renewable energy-related field to foster and consolidate the industry. Therefore, in February 2024, Fukushima Prefecture exhibited at the E-world Energy & Water 2024 held in Essen, Germany, with three Fukushima companies at the Fukushima Prefecture booth.

Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, Fukushima’s participation in the exhibition was the first time in four years. However, this year’s exhibition saw the highest number of visitors, with over 30,000 attendees, and the number of exhibitors reached a record high of 923 companies from 30 countries.

Fukushima Prefecture, in collaboration with NRW State, its overseas partner, held a Fukushima Seminar and provided Fukushima sake at NRW State’s networking event, promoting Fukushima overseas. Individual business matching and other support were provided to the three Fukushima exhibiting companies, leading to active business negotiations.
