Fukushima Prefectural Government offers an invitation program for companies in our partner regions, the state of North-Rhine Westphalia (Germany), Hamburg (Germany), Basque Country (Spain) and Denmark to the Renewable Energy Industries Fair Fukushima (REIF Fukushima 2024) held at Big Palette Fukushima in Koriyama, Japan on 17 and 18 of October 2024.

This program is based on our strong relationships between Fukushima and our partner regions above in the field of renewable energy and aims to promote business and technology exchanges between us.
In this program, we offer a financial support to cover travel expenses with an upper limit including flight to/from Japan, hotel accommodation and domestic transportation to and from Fukushima.
We also offer business supports including arranging B2B matching with Fukushima companies and exhibitors from other part of Japan and assigning Japanese interpreter for the matching

Eligibility
・ Firms undertaking businesses in renewable energy, energy efficiency and energy management in 4 regions; The state of North-Rhine Westphalia (Germany), Hamburg (Germany), Basque Country (Spain) and Denmark
・ Companies looking for business chances in Fukushima and Japan

Travel Cost Coverage ※only 1 invitee per company
・ Flight fare to/from Japan with an upper limit up to 200,000 JPY
・ Hotel accommodation for the duration of the program with an upper limit (11,800 yen/night)
・ Shinkansen (bullet train) fare between Tokyo and Fukushima

Business Support from Fukushima
Coordinators from Energy Agency.Fukushima who have a large network in Fukushima companies will help your business in Fukushima. Business support includes;
・ arranging B2B matching with Fukushima companies and exhibitors from other part of Japan
・ assigning Japanese interpreter (1 interpreter for 1 company) for the business matching
