Fukushima Prefecture is pleased to announce that six companies with unique technologies and products from four overseas partner regions in the renewable energy sector—North Rhine-Westphalia and Hamburg in Germany, the Basque Country in Spain, and the Kingdom of Denmark—will be invited to participate in the 15th Renewable Energy Industrial Fair in Fukushima (REIF Fukushima 2026), to be held at Big Palette Fukushima on October 15–16, 2026.
This invitation program has a history of approximately ten years. During that time, many European companies have taken part in the program, engaged in business matching with companies both within and outside Fukushima Prefecture, and created new business opportunities.
The six invited companies will give presentations and participate in other activities at the Overseas Advanced Technology Seminar, which will be held on the first day of the fair.
The Energy Agency Fukushima will support business matching between the invited companies and Japanese businesses.
