EnergyAgency.FUKUSHIMA (EA.F) signed an MoU with State of Green (SoG) in 2019 for the first time and since then both organizations have promoted collaboration in renewable energy related technology in many fields. Energy Agency Fukushima signed the first Cooperation Agreement with Energy Agency NRW in 2014 to allow for joint collaboration in the fields of biomass, wind, solar energy and hydrogen exploration. REIF Fukushima 2020, the biggest trade fair in Tohoku region kicked off! REIF2020 took place at Big Palette, Koriyama City on October 28 and 29, 2020. Due to Covid-19 pandemic, overseas companies on the invitation program participated in REIF2020 online. Amid such a situation, REIF2020 made a fantastic success, gathering 192 exhibitors and 5,347 visitors. Online business matchmaking with NRW companies from Germany catching eyes! At REIF2020, business matchmaking between NRW companies and Fukushima-based renewable companies took place. This year, at the NRW pavilion, seven companies including 4 companies participating online and 3 from Japanese subsidiaries and a partner company participating onsite set up their booths out of concern for Covid-19 outbreak.  Since this was the first-ever attempt, anticipations and worries crisscrossed.
